Icons are SVGs (Scalable Vector Graphic). This means that icons do not lose their resolution even when they have been resized. There are two types of icons in our libraries defined by how they are colored.
- Color icons contain more than one color, texture or gradient. You are not able to change the color of a multi-colored icon.
- Mono icons contain just one color. You are able to change the color of these icons using the color option in the upper toolbar (choose a color or enter a hex code).
There are 4000+ icons available in 30+ categories in our graphics library.
Photos are images and can come in png, jpg or jpeg formats.
We recommend using icons over photos, as photos lose resolution when enlarged. When using photos which have been resized, it is likely that your output will be affected by blurry images.
While we are working to expand our photo library, you can upload up to 1040 MB of your own images with a Piktochart Pro account, up to 100 MB with a Lite account and up to 40 MB with a free account.
